The Sixth Amendment, according to the Supreme Court, gives a defendant (the person charged with a crime) the right to a public defender in all criminal proceedings where the defendant is facing incarceration.

North Mississippi Attorney Amy Pietrowski recently expanded her practice with an office in Southaven. Pietrowski celebrated the grand opening of the office with the Southaven community and Southaven Chamber of Commerce with an open house on June 24.
